1. Chaos no More:  We'll make your space work, so you can play!

No more time wasted looking for your keys under that pile of socks by the kitchen table-office. We'll help you to save valuable time and lower your aggravation level by creating an organizing, storing and tossing system that will work for you. Your space will feel homier and be much easier to maintain, and it'll be more fun to invite friends over.  (Or enjoy it all by yourself.)

Together we identify and assess your organizational style and habits, and conduct a walking tour of your living space, including "visits" to drawers and cupboards. 

This five to seven hour (apartment-sized) package includes our organizer working with you to clear away clutter, recycle paper, find a designated home for important and frequently used household items, and set up organizational systems designed to make staying organized much easier. For larger jobs, please refer to "Weekend Deplete".

2. Weekend Deplete: Keep the memories, clear the clutter

Cleaning up and clearing out the "house from heaven", full of 25 years of accumulated "treasures".  For the Weekend Deplete, we devote an entire weekend to clearing out everything.  Requires a strong commitment on the part of the customer, plus some initial "ground rules" or guidelines regarding how to proceed quickly, efficiently, sensitively.   We will identify books, antiques and other items that the owner could sell rather than donate, possibly recouping a sufficient portion of the cost of the "deplete".

3. ReGroup:  We'll help you start again

We'll help you to create a space so comfortable and inviting that people will be lining up to share it with you!  And if you really want it all to yourself, we'll keep it a secret, too.

We assess what you have and what you need for your home from a functional perspective, including everything from laundry hampers to kitchen utensils. 

We discuss and plan changes to and purchases for your space based on your decorating styles and preferences, as well as your budget. Prices negotiated up front.

We will source out and price items for you to purchase.

We'll recommend paint colours that complement your new set up.

4. Home Merge:  When one couch is better than two

Finesse will referee and negotiate a mixing and matching of furnishings from your two households, being sensitive to your potentially quite dissimilar tastes.  We will make recommendations regarding furniture placement, accessories, and refurbishing furniture so colours coordinate. We will identify coordinating wall paint colours, and suggest window treatments.  Communications report or design drawings included.  Price is negotiated upfront based on size and complexity of job.  Or opt for a two hour group consultation.

5. FINESSE Designer: Change your space and have fun doing it!

Bored with your current decor?  Tell us what's working for you and what isn't and we'll recommend creative ideas and solutions for you. For example: how to transform an old-fashioned fireplace to suit modern decor, or how to transform a modern fireplace to suit your period decor. A decorating action plan will be created, identifying changes to be made and specifying completion particulars.  If you are not a do-it-yourselfer, we can supply you with names of trusted and competent trades contractors to contact and work with you through to project completion.

6. Home Stage: House Dressing, anyone?

Staging a home so that it will sell: includes assessing your home's weak areas and prescribing the most cost-effective and time-efficient remedy, that may include repainting walls, changing flooring, de-cluttering, rearranging furniture, editing out some furniture, changing wall hangings, adding flowers etc. 

Home Stage services are intended to complement suggestions and recommendations made by your realtor or particularly savvy homeowners/friends of homeowners. 

A two hour consultation covers an initial needs determination assessment, and a decorating/repair action plan, for do-it-yourselfers.

If repair work beyond the scope of decorating requires a trades professional such as an electrician or plumber, Finesse can coordinate your retaining of these services as well.  Finesse will happily work hands on with you, or do the work while you play.

7. Paintings, Murals, Prints: Tired of staring at a blank wall?

Finesse will assist you to choose wall hangings that work for you--working from your photographs, framed prints or posters, in addition to offering for sale original paintings or prints by Finesse artists. We can also create paintings or customized murals to your tastes and
